After that it just said "Skype can't connect". What gives? How do I go back to a previous version? I tried to download one off the internet and it seemed to work until I tried logging in. I could go back pretty much infinitely on my old laptop, where I had an older version of Skype. This link is at the bottom of the drop-down menu, just right of the 'New to Skype' message. One year ago, one month ago, three months ago, etc. Whatever these new updates are removed my ability to click somewhere at the top of the chat and go to certain intervals in time. Instead, what that now does is inputs whatever I type in the search bar, which I could literally just drag my cursor over to and click on if I wanted to do that, with zero trouble whatsoever.
Back just some months ago, I used to be able to do things like hit Ctrl + F and find anything in a conversation, dating back even months ago.
